Konark (62 Kms from Bhubanesawr)

Odisha's main attraction lies in the black pagoda of Konark. Around 62 km from Bhubaneswar, Konark boats of the famous Sun temple, that finds pride of place in the World Heritage sites list. A visit to this unique temple carved in the form of a Chariot is simply awe-inspiring. Pipli town famous for its applique handicraft lies at a distance of 21 km from Bhubaneswar is also a worth-visiting site. Other charms close by are Nandankanan-23 km from Bhubaneswar and famous for a Lion Safari Park, Gopalpur- on-sea -196 km an exquisite beach resort. The Hirakud Dam, the world's longest earth dam, waterfalls, hotwater springs, the list of attractions is endless.

Paradip is a port town and a notified area council in Jagatsinghapur District of Odisha.

Rourkela (350 Kms from Bhubanesawr)

Rourkela is an industrial township in Odisha. It is also known as the commercial capital of Odisha. It has a huge iron & steel manufacturing base. Besides, there are many units producing sponge iron, cement, Refractories etc. Rourkela Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL is a one of the largest steel manufacturing facilities in India.
